Camden’s Roundhouse venue has closed due to Coronavirus.
Read their full statement below.
“It is with a heavy heart, due to the impact of the coronavirus, that the Roundhouse will temporarily close from today (Tuesday 17 March). Our team is working hard to rearrange upcoming gigs and shows and we’re getting in touch with ticket buyers directly as quickly as possible to let them know how their booking will be affected.
We will update individual show pages on our website, and email ticket buyers directly, as soon as we have more information for you. Please check back regularly if you have questions about your booking and please bear with us during this unprecedented time.
We have also taken the decision to close the Roundhouse Studios for young people and have cancelled projects for this term, up until Sunday 19 April. For young people who use our studios or take part in our projects, we know for many of you we are a safe haven, so we will try and continue this work as soon as is possibly safe to do so.
As a charity, the cancellation of shows and the resulting loss of ticket sales will significantly impact the work we can deliver with young people. We understand that all of our audience members have completely different financial circumstances and that now is an uncertain time for us all; however, if you feel there is anything you can donate to our charitable work at this time please do support us. If you didn’t know that we’re a charity and you want to find out more, you can read about some of the stories from our studios.”
