Virgin Atlantic brings many travellers to London every year, from across Europe and further afield. Things have just changed for the airline.

Virgin Atlantic has announced 3000 job losses at the airline. They also stated that they will no longer be using Gatwick airport, something that might affect visitors to Camden Town. Gatwick is one of the busiest hubs for visitors from Europe to arrive, then get the train and northern line up to Camden Town.

As is to be expected, the Coronavirus has caused mayhem in the travel industry, with travellers simply not allowed to travel abroad.

With their Gatwick flights seemingly permanently cancelled, it’s hoped that other airlines travelling on the same routes will be able to provide the needed flights. That is, if they themselves can stay in business.

Camden Town is one the UK’s and indeed Europe’s busiest tourist destinations in normal times. The famous markets, music venues, food stalls and restaurants bring visitors from all across the world.
