The Enterprise is a well-known pub in Camden, and now it has grown into a hotel too. We visited the location to see what all the hype is about.
The Enterprise has been a pub in Camden for many years, and now there’s accommodation: tell us about the new hotel.
The Camden Enterprise Hotel is housed in a beautiful Victorian building built in 1865. For musicians, bands and fans, The Enterprise pub was a music venue known for hosting gigs by up and coming artists. Three floors above the pub have now been transformed into 21 stylish hotel rooms. The hotel was opened in June 2017. The idea was to hold onto the cool Camden spirit and create rooms with character. All bedrooms have a modern décor and are equipped with high-end furnishings – but they remain funky. Guests say we have the most comfortable beds that they have ever experienced! Come along and visit, our receptionists will be delighted to show you around Camden’s newest jewel.
How long did the process take to open the hotel in Camden Town?
The idea of creating Camden’s coolest hotel was an idea for a very long time. The refurbishment process has taken around 18 months.
The location is perfect, tell us what people can expect when they spend a few nights at The Enterprise.
Indeed, the location is ideal. Camden has so much to offer: restaurants, bars, Camden Market, The Roundhouse, Jazz Cafe, London Zoo and the Regent’s Canal, all of this is just a stone’s throw away. The Camden Enterprise Hotel offers high quality accommodation near to all of these favourite attractions, furthermore it has its own pub where guests can enjoy food and drink until late. A number of rooms on the first and second floor have full length windows which give beautiful natural light and great views out onto colourful delights and buzzing life of Camden. For a more unique experience you may request a room on the third floor, where there are rooms with a half-roof skylight so you may have the joy of falling asleep with a view of the stars. P.S. you might even see a lucky falling star.
The pub has been a part of Camden, with a great music venue upstairs. Is that still going strong?
The music venue has now become the hotel; the musicians now stay over instead of playing a gig! Yes, we do have rooms booked by bands who have played at The Roundhouse just across the road.
