The first restaurant of Pip Lacey, winner of 2017’s Great British Menu, opens in King’s Cross.
The restaurant, hicce, is located just above Wolf & Badger in the newly opened Coal Drops Yard. The restaurant seats 80 people with alfresco seating for 35, and offers all-day dining from midday onwards.
Pip Lacey left the Michelin starred restaurant, Murano, so visitors can expect the finest quality food and service.
Hicce (pronounced ee-che) is spacious with a lot of natural light, and they aim to serve good food in an enjoyable location. After all, hicce means ‘current, of the moment’ in Latin.
Everything is cooked over an open wood fire, so expect a meal that’s full of flavour.
