On Monday July 10th 2017 a fire broke out at the Camden Markets, with the first call to police at 12:10am. A building consisting of 3 levels was on fire and the blaze grew and spread quickly.

10 fire engines and 70 firefighters arrived to do their best to keep the fire under control. Without these heroes, things would have been much worse.

A section of Camden Market will be closed off to the public, but in true Camden spirit the market will reopen today. Please visit and support the stalls and shops during this difficult time. 20 firefighters will remain at Camden Market today.
