Camden Market has banned the sales of fur from all its traders, starting Thursday 1st March 2018.

Camden Market has joined to growing list of fur-free markets and stores, including Selfridges, Spitalfields, and Liberty.

Any item, be it a fur coat or a key ring made from rabbit fur can no longer be sold.

Animal rights group PETA UK has welcomed this decision, as have many visitors and locals. Camden Town Market is aware of people’s concerns and opinions, and has decided that in modern times the traders need to adapt.
