The Abbey Tavern is hands-down one of our favourite pubs, and there are many reasons for this. It’s not just about good beer…
The Abbey Tavern is a short walk up Kentish Town Road from Camden underground station towards Kentish Town. Look out for it on the right on the corner, you can’t miss the sign. Once you go in, you’re greeted by a long bar with friendly bar staff, a great choice of beers and wines, plenty of seating, and a warm environment. As you head to the rear there’s a door that leads to an impressively sized beer garden – perfect in summer and heated in winter, and even a roof terrace.
Their food menu has a good choice, from usual pub food like burgers and the good ol’ British Fish & Chips, to Jerk Chicken and Pork Belly.
The Abbey Tavern regularly puts on evening events with live music and DJ’s, and open mic nights.
You’re guaranteed a nice family friendly afternoon drink and meal, and an exciting night out with friends at The Abbey Tavern, so it’s one of our best pubs in Camden Town.
