May is excellent (not Theresa May, in case you were wondering). It’s a month of sun, beer gardens, friends, and smiles. We’ve put together a list of the top things to do in Camden this May.
  1. Lost Evenings Festival

Frank Turner presents a 4 day festival, taking place at Camden Roundhouse and other Camden music venues such as The Monarch from 11th – 14th May.

  1. Visit a new record store

Let It Roll Records will open in May. We’ve taken a look and the new store looks very promising. Get stocked up on vinyl!

  1. Get Fit!

The sun is out, so there’s no excuse to not be in your running shoes. If you prefer to exercise indoors, with classes and training equipment, The Fitness Mosaic in Camden Town is the local gym of choice.

  1. The Poster Workshop’s Exhibition

The exhibition in Camden Market ends on May 1st. See how posters played their part in political propaganda.

  1. Get a Desk at a Co-working Space

There’s a beautiful new co-working space in Camden called The Studio. A spacious environment that offers everything you need to get your business or freelance career off to a flying start. And they have excellent coffee!

  1. Big Moon at Dr Martens Music Room

Dr Martens have a wonderful shop in Camden Market, with a room at the side where they put on live shows. Catch Big Moon on May 31st.

  1. Camden Giving Week

Camden Giving Week is organised by local charity, Camden Giving, which aims to connect Camden to overcome local inequality. May 21-27.

  1. Eat!

KERB Camden has an excellent choice of food stalls, each with its own flavours and charm. As the sun will be out, take a seat nearby and enjoy your meal.

  1. Drink!

The new Two Tribes Brewery has opened up nearby. They make beer on-site and have food too, with a great tap room to sit and drink up.

  1. See new Street Art

Irony, the street artist, has been back at it. He has a new piece too, which can be seen in Camden Town. Read the article to find out exactly where it is.
