April has arrived. A month of fun and sun (hopefully). In Camden Town, as always, there are plenty of things to do this month.

1. The Libertines Pub Quiz

Do you know what became of the Likely Lads? Do you know your Vertigo from your Horror Show? Find out how much you really know about the Boys In The Band at a pub quiz at The Monarch on 23rd April. Only £3 to get in.

2. CircusFest at The Roundhouse

Be prepared to be amazed and thrilled as the circus rolls in to town. Circus meets art, dance, film and virtual reality from April 3rd.

3. Try some Camden Street Food

KERB Camden is the neatly organised selection of street food stalls in Camden Market. Have a walk around, see what looks good, taste some unique and delicious food.

4. Learn to ride a bike

Many people have never tried, or have tried but gave up as kids. Now is your chance to get your kids, and even yourself, on the bike with free cycle lessons in Camden.

5. Get wild at Cyberdog

One of Camden’s most unique stores, Cyberdog is for the weird and whacky. It’s also a must-see shop with excellent clothes and gifts. Get ready to rave!

6. Visit the Amy Winehouse statue

In Camden’s Stables Market you’ll find the Amy Winehouse statue – a fitting tribute to one of Camden’s most talented and gifted musicians.

7. Buy something for your home from Future & Found

Just up the road in Tufnell Park hides one of London’s gems – Future & Found. They occupy a beautiful building (worth a look just for that!) and have designs and crafts for your home.

8. See Ian Siegal in concert

UK Blues is just as good as from over the pond, and it’s leader is Ian Siegal. Catch his powerful live performance at Jazz Cafe on April 11th.

9. Go to a metal gig

Camden is renowned for it’s hard rock, punk and metal. If you’ve never been to a metal show, get to Underworld Camden. It loud, it’s sweaty, it’s awesome.

10. Get fit at Mosaic

The Fitness Mosaic near Chalk Farm offers classes and a well-equipped gym to get you in shape for the summer months. Suns out – guns out!
