‘Tis the month to be healthy. This doesn’t mean sacrificing on taste. Camden Market has arguably the best selection of vegan restaurants and food stalls in the UK. Don’t just keep it for January, they are there all year round.

It’s on only until the end of January, The Face magazine was controversial and created a modern lifestyle movement. See their display of magazine covers near Kings Cross.

80’s gaming is cool. Holborn Library are hosting gaming events to celebrate the old style games. If you are an expert gamer or have never played before, this is a fun evening out.

The Gibson Brothers from France hit the Jazz Café on January 26th. Their party anthems will get your feet shuffling!

We recently visited the new restaurant in Coal Drops Yard – hicce – and loved every bite of food we had. Friendly service and incredible food.

  1. Jim James at Camden Roundhouse

Jim James is the vocalist of My Morning Jacket, and he comes to Roundhouse to perform his first ever solo UK show. Tuesday 29th January – if you’re a fan get your tickets now.

The Monarch in Camden has some great bands playing this month. From rock to pop to acoustic, this venue also has a good selection of drinks to enjoy while you listen to the bands.

  1. I am Ashurbanipal exhibition

The British Museum is showing an exhibition about Ashurbanipal, who was the most powerful man on earth. See the exhibition all throughout January.

  1. Living with buildings

This fascinating exhibition is at the Wellcome Collection on Euston Road. Learn how building sizes, shapes, designs and colours interact with our emotions.
