It’s December! Can you believe it? The Christmas spirit has arrived, the temperature has dropped, and there are many festive activities to keep you warm and celebratory.
1. Go ice skating
Camden Market is home to one of London’s Christmas themed ice rinks. Children and adults are invited to try to keep their balance and enjoy their ice staking in Camden Stables Market. With your ticket you’ll also quality for discounts at select restaurants in Camden.
2. Live Music at Spiritual Bar
Camden’s Spiritual Bar has established itself as one of the must-visit venues for live music. It’s got a great vibe, serves excellent cocktails, and hosts from of Camden’s best live music talent.
3. Christmas Grotto and Camden Market
Santa’s home is in Camden Market’s North Yard, did you not know? Come and see the great bearded on in action, meet him and see his magical show. Santa in the Stables – don’t miss it.
The new restaurant in Camden Stables Market, KUKU RIKU, is causing quite a stir. The large, beautifully laid-out restaurant has a chicken filled menu, but good choices for vegetarians too. Quite possibly the best chicken burger we’ve ever had. Delicious!
5. Christodoulos Panayiotou at Camden Arts Center
This is the first major UK exhibition of work by Christodoulos Panayiotou (b. 1978, Limassol, Cyprus). It brings together works from the last 10 years, many of which have not been shown in the UK before, and new commissions – activating Camden Arts Centre with a series of poetic interventions.
Jackson’s Lane near Highgate Underground station has long been one of the area’s best theatres. Getting ready for the Christmas season they’ve got regular shows of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears until December 24th. Take the kids!
7. VOTE!
You’ve registered to vote, right? December 12th is the day to cast your vote and make a difference. Book the time off now, no excuses.
